Paperless recorder is practical and convenient

Fuji pioneered the inkjet paper chart recorder, which was reliable and provided clear printing on paper charts with a minimum of maintenance. Now there is a school of thought, which says while paper charts are very convenient to analyse and store, paperless screen recorders cost less to run because they never require ink or paper.
So Fuji has launched a paperless chart recorder that is user-friendly and good value for money. Although it costs slightly more than the inkjet equivalent, it does not require consumables or physical maintenance. The main feature is a 125 mm screen where the measured inputs, alarms, events etc are displayed in the same style used by the Fuji inkjet recorder.
Fuji's paperless recorder has three or six isolated analog inputs and up to four logic inputs. The recorder logs up to 350K of data on board and up to 650K onto the built-in 1,44 Mb stiffy drive. Interfaces include RS232 and RS485 - Modbus, and the unit is configured by means of keys, diskette or serial interface.
A software program is provided to load the measured data into spreadsheet format as well as for display and analysis purposes. Fuji's paperless recorder is a practical and convenient means of displaying variables and storing the measurements in electronic format.
