For identification and coding in conveyor and assembly applications using RFID technology ifm electronic provides the complete DTS 125 solution. The DTA 200 and DTA 201 are excellent alternatives to electromechanical and pneumatic coding systems.
The DTA200 read/write unit can read or write to ID tags, benefiting from the advantages of AS-I. Special features are its large data memory and the high number of write cycles. DTA201 is the compact and low-cost alternative in applications that only require reading the ID tag data.
The system can be quickly integrated into AS-I networks and is immediately ready for operation. Special software for parameter setting or evaluation is not required. The read/write heads are used in the AS-I network as analog slaves according to profile 7.3 or 7.4 with a master controlling up to 31 slaves.
The compact read/write head (40 x 40 x 66 mm) includes, in addition to the antenna, the complete evaluation and the interface to AS-I. The ID tags are read at linear speeds up to 0,5 m/s, and distances from the read/write head up to 65 mm. A separate voltage supply for the system is not necessary since this is directly supplied via the AS-I flat cable.
