E+H's new calibration rig

Endress+Hauser has announced the launch of a new calibration flow rig at its testing facility in Reinach, Switzerland. The PremiumCal calibration rig was designed and manufactured over a period of two years to meet the high standards required by process control customers. Over 30 variables were taken into account during development in order to achieve optimal accuracy.

The PremiumCal calibration rig is used to calibrate Endress+Hauser’s Promass F series of Coriolis flowmeters to a specified measurement deviation of ±0,05%. The addition of this latest calibration rig has increased the accuracy of the Promass F flowmeters, used as reference flowmeters in the company’s calibration units, by a factor of two.

This accuracy enables Endress+Hauser South Africa to cope with increasingly stringent customer requirements in future-oriented sectors such as life sciences, chemicals, food and petrochemcials.
