Interface terminal blocks with two PDT contacts

April 2001 Industrial Computer Hardware

PLC Interface, a user-oriented interface between automation devices and the system periphery from Phoenix Contact is now available with two PDT contacts.

The interfaces consist of 14 mm narrow base terminal blocks with pluggable 2-PDT relays. They are narrow, quick to instal and bridgeable. Despite the little space required, the contacts can carry a direct load of up to 6 A/250 V a.c. Due to its pitch-free bridging system, the interface terminal block saves space and installation time and material. The modular, pluggable structure with universally usable relays ensures flexibility and convenient handling, from system planning and design to many years of reliable operation.

Available in special actuator variants, connection of the actuators directly at the interface saves feed-in and return terminal blocks as well as their wiring. Further performance features are IP67-protected relays, safe disconnect according to VDE 0106-101, integrated input protection circuits and marking with standard terminal block marking material.
