Two-wire proximity sensors with extended sensing range

The new Quadronorm Plus range of inductive proximity sensors from sensing and control specialist, IFM Electronic, combines the convenience of extended sensing ranges with the easy installation and versatility of two-wire sensors. Every sensor in the range also includes wide-angle status indication, together with an extra LED indicator which provides instant visual confirmation that the sensor is operating within its safe sensing range.
All versions of the new sensor have four yellow LEDs placed at 90° intervals around their bodies, so that the switching status can be easily seen from any angle. An additional red LED shows when the target is in the critical range close to the switching point, an area of operation which must be avoided with all types of proximity switches in order to guarantee dependable functioning.
