Trinity Telecomms has announced the appointment of FireTech Systems as its Namibian distributor for wireless security solutions. Based in Windhoek, FireTech Systems was established in 2004 as a distributor and wholesaler of technology products, including electronic life safety and security equipment. It services customers throughout Namibia and Angola.
Tiaan van Niekerk, MD of FireTech Systems comments: “We began by servicing the security market with GSM-based CCTV solutions products initially, and soon realised the potential for other GSM-based solutions in Namibia, especially for our customers in more remote areas. We began researching the market, and discovered Trinity Telecomms’ products at the Securex exhibition in 2008. We were very interested in the ActiveGuard guard routing solution, as well as Trinity’s range of wireless alarm transmitters.”

Developed in Poland, the ActiveGuard solution and wireless alarm transmitters have been subject to stringent testing for temperature and other environmental conditions, and have proven themselves ideal for the harsh conditions that we experience in Africa. We are looking forward to installing these products in our region.”
