ApplyIT is top performer

November 2008 News

ApplyIT has won the Club Performance award for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) at Infor’s Partner Summit held in Marbella, Spain. The Channel Partner Award was presented in acknowledgement of ApplyIT’s sales performance during Infor’s 2008 financial year.

Infor, the world’s third largest provider of business software, with revenues of $2,2 billion, 70 000 customers and 9000 employees, has 400 channel partners in EMEA.

Since inception, ApplyIT has focused on the Infor supply chain solutions, specifically for food and beverage and process industries. These solutions include Infor DP (demand planning), Infor AP (advanced planning) and Infor AS (advanced scheduling) products; designed for supply chain planning in the process industries.

These industries are characterised by tanks, liquids, shelf life, quality and other constraints which pose unique supply chain challenges. This focus by ApplyIT has led to several South African customers benefiting from the Infor supply chain solutions, including Clover, Hudson & Knight, Eskom and SAB.

“Our strategic focus on process manufacturing companies has led to us naturally working closely with Infor as it has some of the most compelling niche solutions for this industry segment,” says Gavin Halse, MD of ApplyIT. “We and our customers have both realised that competitive advantage can be achieved and sustained through the in-depth industry knowledge provided by Infor’s solutions, combined with the specialist expertise of our professional services team to ensure that this knowledge is best applied.”
