Large display digital indicator

New from RKC is the compact AE500 digital indicator with an easy-to-see, large size LED. With a sampling cycle of 0,5 s, the AE500 is accurate to within 0,3% of the display value plus one digit and is ideal for wide ranging applications, including humidity control, vibration monitoring and applications in bearing alarm and trip sensors.

The AE500 is dust and waterproof to IP65 requirements enabling its use in harsh conditions. It is available with optional digital communications - a 2-wire RS485 port is provided and up to four alarm outputs can be added with alarm action on either process high or process low.

Supply voltage is 24 V a.c. and the unit is unaffected by power failures of less than 20 ms. With failures of longer duration the AE500 simply resets to the initial status and is backed up by nonvolatile memory. Robust and reliable, the AE500 can facilitate significant savings in downtime by providing accurate readings for maintenance purposes.
