New partners

News
Local enterprise storage and high availability specialists, MERIT Technology Solutions (MERIT TS) has been appointed consulting delivery partner for Symantec in South Africa and EMEA.
Lex Pienaar, CEO of MERIT TS, explains: "We are a supplier of professional services around clustering, high availability, disaster recovery and storage management solutions. As such we work with Symantec and its other partners to ensure that customers derive the best possible value from those solutions."
"MERIT TS is a specialised delivery partner that will be fully trained in our technologies and methodologies and will work closely with Symantec and its partners to deliver our solutions to the market," said Patrick Evans, regional director, Africa at Symantec.
Pienaar believes the MERIT TS' high-end technical skills resources differentiates it from other partners and, indeed, allows the company to add value for the other partners as much as for Symantec. "We are selling expertise in the form of professional services and we solve complex ICT problems for customers," he says.
