Comtest is pleased to announce that Fluke’s SV225 is now available in single packs. The stray voltage eliminator is an excellent solution for customers who encounter stray or ghost voltages while testing for live or dead circuits with high impedance multimeters.
Stray or ghost voltages occur from capacitive coupling which takes place between energised and non energised adjacent wiring. The SV225 eliminates the effects caused by capacitance between wires in electrical installations. On energised wires the unit indicates the real circuit voltage, and on non-energised circuits the meter reads zero even if stray voltages are present.
The new product is compatible with all instruments and test leads that accept standard 4 mm shrouded banana connectors and the nominal resistance is 3000 at 25°C.
