The MAGRES BMMH 30 absolute multiturn encoder sets new standards with a flange diameter of only 30 mm. These extremely robust and durable encoders are based on the patented combination of magnetic single-turn sensing and contact-less multiturn scanning.
They achieve the best values in reliability and durability, while having a high resistance to shock, vibration and temperature fluctuations. The BMMH 30 opens up new and economical application possibilities in spacecritical mounting locations as an alternative to incremental encoders or potentiometers. The unambiguous and continuous multiturn position scanning ensures correct position value at any time, even when external power is removed. This completely eliminates position referencing needs. Despite its compact size, the BMMH 30 offers a total resolution of 25 bits via SSI interface. Numerous connection variants with radial and axial connector or cable output provide maximum wiring freedom. Hollow shaft, shaft and bearing-less kit versions with protection class up to IP69K, ensure versatile and easy mounting.
