Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration
IFM Electronic's DN 2036 is a new switched-mode power supply with 92,5% efficiency guaranteeing low heat loss. Meeting EMC standards, the 30 A unit can be used for industrial and domestic applications. A comprehensive list of approvals includes EN 60950, UL 1950, UL 508, CUL/CSA-C22.2 and CE certification.
The power supply has a wide input range of 340 to 576 V a.c./47 to 63 Hz which enables worldwide use, and the output voltage can be set between 24 and 28 V by means of a potentiometer. Both short circuit and overload protected, the power supply has a sixty second power reserve up to 35 A before passing into the 'hiccup mode'. The unit has a mains buffering time of >10 ms at 400 V and it can be used in parallel with other DN 2036s to increase the output current.
Easily mounted onto a DIN rail without tools, the power supply is also suited for battery charging. Additional power supplies are available with a 24 V d.c. output voltage, one phase from 1-20 A and three phases from 5-4 0A. IFM Electronic is represented locally by Shorrock Automation.
