The problem-solving Baumer Electric series 16 housing is now also available locally as a through-beam sensor from Temperature Controls.
The transmitter unit operates with visible red light which aids alignment of the transmitter-receiver pair. The integrated test input also proves very helpful in the adjustment. Two types of receivers, where the adjusting aid and the dirt indicator are standard in both versions, are also offered.
The new series 16 includes a variety of products. For difficult scanning targets, a version with a 10-turn potentiometer for fine adjustment is included in the program. Output signals are available with light/dark switching or with an optional alarm output.
