As an integral component of Siemens' Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) concept, Simatic technology is set to feature prominently at the annual Siemens Automation & Drives (A&D) TIA User Forum which will take place at the Birchwood Conference Centre from 22 to 24 October 2007.
The TIA User Forum will also provide delegates with the opportunity to see the latest version of the Simatic PCS 7 process control system, first launched in South Africa at the Process Show in May 2007.
The Simatic PCS 7 process control system version 7 offers improved performance and a host of innovative new functions in the areas of process security, asset management for plant components and data exchange.
