AC/DC current transducer for <0,5 A

LEM of Geneva Switzerland, has released the CT series of current transducers which use flux-gate technology for measuring AC and DC current below 0,5 A. There are three models in the range, optimised to measure current up to 100, 200 and 400 mA respectively.

The compact units, which are for PCB mounting, operate from a dual 15 V power supply and are calibrated for 0-5 V output. The usable bandwidth is from DC to 18 kHz with a response time better than 60 ms. Applications include earth leakage detection, human contact protection of PV arrays, and differential current measurement in three phase systems.
