Cognex, a leading manufacturer of machine vision systems, boasts of having shipped over 300 000 vision systems over the past 25 years. It offers a full range of vision sensors that gauge, guide, inspect and identify parts and that are designed to withstand industrial environments.
Westplex has been active in the field of computer-based automation, test and measurement for over 21 years. During the last eight years the company has embraced machine vision equipment and systems. It represents a comprehensive portfolio of machine vision equipment suppliers and has accumulated expertise in programming and implementing machine vision systems. Working together with Cognex, Westplex will provide complete sales, backup and support of Cognex machine vision equipment and systems in South Africa.
The Cognex product range comprises In-Sight vision sensors and software, DVT vision sensors, Checker sensors and VisionPro software tools.
