RKC Instrument has announced the release of the new SRZ Series controller. This controller is designed as a four-channel temperature controller packed in a single compact module requiring substantially less panel space than multiple single-channel controllers.
The 4-channel base unit is designed for DIN-rail mounting. Modules can be added to expand the unit to 32 or more channels per PC port. SRZ Series modules can be remotely distributed by connecting them via RS485 communication. Up to 16 Z-T10 (128 DI) and 16 Z-DIO (128 DO) modules can be connected to one serial communication network in a distributed installation. The Z-COM module can manage data from connected control modules via high-speed bus connection and a MAPMAN program-less connection to PLCs is also available.
The system incorporates advanced functions for multiloop control.
Controllers' parameters are set-up via the USB loader port using Win-UCI software (loader communication), which also supports and simplifies data monitoring and logging.
