Elquip Solutions' range of high-quality enclosures now available in PVC

March 2007 Enclosures, Cabling & Connectors

Since mid-2006, Elquip Solutions has been supplying Cemar's highly economical range of enclosures and cabinets to South African industry. This range has just been expanded, to include a high-quality, durable PVC range.

This is according to Mike Cronin, managing director and owner of Elquip Solutions, a leading importer and distributor of high-end automation and capital equipment in South Africa.

"Cemar provides a high quality range of very competitively priced enclosures that have a broad spectrum of applications. Like the range that Elquip Solutions has had on the market for a while now, its new offering maintains its standards of manufacture and meets all international regulations," says Cronin.

"These are an excellent line of enclosures, that can be used in most electrical and automation applications and provide security and versatility. The enclosures are rated IP 65; and are strong, heat resistant and protected against corrosion."

Made of thermoplastic material, the enclosures are built to withstand impact and come with either a transparent or opaque lid and includes a mounting plate that can support up to 30 kg of static weight.

Other features include:

* A removable lid for easy component installation.

* 180° hinge opening for easy access and assembly of parts.

* Fast Lock System for perfect sealing.

* Specially reinforced and damage resistant hinge.

* A panel that is able to be padlocked for additional security.

Cronin concludes: "We are always on the lookout for new products that, while never compromising on performance or safety, offer our customers the very best value for money. In our opinion Cemar's range provides exactly this winning combination, and choice."
