Raytek, a market leader in non-contact IR temperature measurement, has a low-cost alternative to thermal imaging. The Raytek MX6 is unique in its design being a precision infrared thermometer with integrated digital photography.
The MX6 is used as a diagnostic tool for inspection, maintenance and quality control, and can measure temperatures up to 900°C with 0,75°C accuracy, and has precise double bright true spot sighting to show the exact location being measured. A simple press of a button stores a digital photograph of the area with date, time and temperature included in the image. The PhotoTemp MX6 can measure temperature whilst simultaneously photographing the measured area and its surroundings.
This simple unit can store data for up to 100 locations, which can then be downloaded via a USB link to Data Temp MX Software (supplied with unit) on your laptop or desktop PC, thus providing true historical trending on selected points within a specified route.
Once in your PC, this user friendly image can be titled and enhanced and then used in simple MS Word documents for auto report generation.
Like any quality digital camera the unit has a built in flash automatically activated after low light is sensed. Near and far focus switching allows auto focus distance from 20 cm to infinity. It has photo resolution up to 640 x 480 pixels.
If you need to graph and record temperature, simply hook the MX6 up to your PC and record realtime temperature changes and activate a snapshot photograph when low or high temperature limits are exceeded.
