IEI has launched a new 8,4" (213 mm) Panel PC running an x86 architecture which allows the running of Windows XP Embedded. The AFL08-500/256MB has an AMD processor running 500 MHz (LX-800) and is completely fanless. This processor has a low power consumption of only 6 W and is still strong enough to run Windows XP Embedded. It has an 8,4" (213 mm) LCD including touch which makes it an ideal solution for car navigation, factory HMIs or even POS systems. This product is competitively priced and is also available in a 12,1" (307 mm) version.
