Advantech's PCA-6190 series are new generation Intel Pentium 4 processor-based industrial full-sized single board computers, featuring Intel's LGA775 architecture solution and PCI Express technology. Incorporating Intel's 915GV chipset, the series delivers a powerful computing engine up to 3,8 GHz and supports high capacity dual channel DDRII 400/533 memory. High performance I/O capabilities such as dual PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet, four Serial-ATA devices, and eight USB ports provide advanced throughput. It is also equipped with a VGA port and an optional DVI connector to support dual display. These advanced features make the series an ideal solution for data intensive business, multimedia, and gaming applications.

"Designed for optimal platform performance, PCA-6190 supports Intel's new LGA775 socket for Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors with speeds of up to 3,8/3,06 and a Front Size Bus of 800 MHz. The PCA-6190 is built on Intel's long-life 915GV architecture with hyper-threading (HT) technology, which enables multithreaded software applications to execute threads in parallel, which greatly boosts performance. The product offers a maximum memory capacity of 4 GB of dual channel DDRII 400/533 SDRAM, which allows greater memory bandwidth up to 8,5 GB/s. PCA-6190 also features up to 2 MB of L2 cache, which significantly increases processing performance. The onboard, integrated VGA controller and the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 are equipped to share memory up to 128 MB and offer a cost-effective graphics solution with good 3D performance. It is also enhanced to support dual VGA display with optional DVI connector design.

PCA-6190 implements the PCI Express host interface (PCI-E x1) for LAN connection with the maximum throughput of 2 Gbps for heavy-duty industrial network applications. The Broadcom BCM5721 GbE controllers maximise network data flow through dual 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports. The product provides onboard I/O capabilities which include eight USB 2.0 ports and four Serial ATA ports that facilitate high-speed data transfers at up to 150 MB/s, and allow the use of long and thin SATA cables for storage devices, eliminating messy cabling issues inside industrial-grade chassis.

PCA-6190 also provides most of the popular I/O interfaces such as AC-97 audio, two RS232 ports, one enhanced parallel port, and a floppy disk interface.

To prevent CPU damage from overheating, PCA-6190 features a thermal protection circuit that enables the processor to automatically shut down when the cooling system fails. A remote management port allows users to monitor the system health status and control the system remotely through standard SNMP/HTTP protocol when used with Advantech's SNMP-1000 Intelligent System Manager.

Designed with compatibility considerations, PCA-6190 provides chassis flexibility to accommodate multiple rack and wall- mounted chassis of any height.
