Pushbuttons for use in hygienic applications

Schlegel's RVA series of control units are hand-operated electrical components for use in rough service areas. This series has a mounting diameter of 22,3 mm and being manufactured out of special steel makes them robust and corrosion-proof. Coloured base rings allow for design customisation. The surface of the pushbuttons can be inscribed by laser according to customer requirements. The illuminated pushbuttons are equipped with an illuminated circular push-cap area. According to the manufacturer, the contact feel of these switches contribute to the operating comfort. The flexible contact arrangements and ease of assembly of this series makes its use in a wide variety of applications possible. The RVA series of control units meet the requirements for hygienic applications:

* Types RVAT+TK and RVAHM can be used for hygienic applications without restrictions.

* Actuator types RVATM and RVATÿare suitable for hygienic applications provided the operator is not in direct contact with the processed food.
