Vega has recently released its new Vegaflex 66 guided microwave level measuring sensor, which increases the previous temperature and pressure operating ranges considerably. This instrument is now able to operate in conditions in excess of 250°C and 10 MPa (100 bar) pressure, right up to 400°C and 40 MPa (400 bar) pressure. In conjunction with the rod and cable version the minimal thread size is G 1 A (1) whereas with the coaxial version the size G _ A (3/4) can be implemented. All flange options are also accommodated. These products can also be ATEX approved to be intrinsically safe in a pressure-tight encapsulation.
