Spirax-Sarco Heat Exchange Solutions is offering QuickHeat, a complete heat exchange solution designed for applications where steam is the primary medium. It can be selected, installed and commissioned in little time. QuickHeat's compact design has a smaller footprint, height and weight than other solutions, providing ease of installation, and freeing up valuable floor space.
Spirax-Sarco's partner, Vahterus, provides the innovative Plate & Shell heat exchanger at the core of the QuickHeat. Its compact, fully welded construction provides a durable gasket-free construction, able to withstand high temperature and pressure. It provides a low cost per kW with no energy loss or safety risk through leaks. The gasket free, low fouling design minimises maintenance requirements to provide an extremely low cost of ownership.
QuickHeat can solve heat exchange needs from as low as 100 kW up to 10 000 kW. With its available combinations of control methods, secondary piping arrangements and condensate removal options, QuickHeat can be precisely tailored to meet the user's requirements, even on the most trying of applications. The extensive choice of construction materials available for the Plate & Shell heat exchanger also allow for a wide range of secondary fluids to be catered for. QuickHeat's compact, simple design provides accurate control with low ownership costs over a long life span.
