The PHP 601 high-precision thermometer with two independent channels that has been developed and produced by AOIP Instrumentation. The versatile instrument features connecting thermocouples and resistive probes on two separate channels that can be extended to 13 channels with the SHP 101 12-channel scanner.
The PHP 601 is intended for both metrology lab experts and technicians. It is available with a broad range of thermocouples and resistive probes. These can be complemented by a 'transducer' database for special models, in which the linearisation parameters are entered in polynomial or tabular form. Each sensor can be managed by simply entering its calibration curve and temperature measurements are accurate to within 0,01°C.
With an IEEE or RS232 interface, the device becomes the centre of a high-performance calibration system, or with a battery and two probes, this differential thermometer is an appropriate tool for the expert in the field. Its recording function and large memory can store dated samples, making it a good tool for applications including calibration and standards laboratories, research and development establishments, and any other area where precise temperature measurement is required.
