IFM Electronic's type OG wetline photoelectric sensors are specifically designed for the food industry. With their IP 68 or IP 69K protection rating, the sensors guarantee complete ingress resistance, even in areas with frequent high-pressure cleaning. The OG sensors have a M18 X1 design with a threaded stainless steel housing, and adjustment is easy by means of a programming pushbutton. Various stainless steel mounting components are available for easy mounting. The OG wetline family consists of through-beam sensors with a 15 m sensing range, laser through-beam types with a 60 m range, retro-reflective sensors with polarisation filter with a 3 m range, diffuse reflection types with a 0,6 m range, and diffuse reflection sensors with background suppression and a 0,03 to 0,13 m range. The sensors are available in 3- and 4-wire types and are supplied with a universal IP68 connector, or for customers that prefer the cable version, a 6 m PVC cable is available to make sure the connection is way out of the wash down area.
The OJ photoelectric sensors are also IP 68 or IP 69K rated and feature a visible red light to facilitate alignment during installation and set-up. They are easily mounted by simply being snapped onto a stainless steel mounting clip. They have ABS housings, front or side glass lenses and three connection options.
Included in the range are 'plug-and-play' OJ5085 sensors for glass and PET detection. The system consists of a retro-reflective sensor with polarisation filter and a very fine prismatic reflector. Even in applications with frequent cleaning processes the sensors guarantee absolute ingress resistance. The sensors have a switching frequency of more than 2 kHz, making them suitable for applications requiring fast responses. The complete system is mounted, adjusted and ready for operation in a very short time.
