Thermal imager for pocket PC
November 2005
Temperature Measurement
MCI is offering a new ergonomically designed, cost effective and easy-to-use thermal imager. These thermal imagers feature user selectable sensitivity settings, user selectable image integration of 1 to 10 frames, offset control, emissivity values and auto adjust sensitivity/range. The imager has an optional handle which holds virtually any pocket PC or palm device, which performs as a combined processor, display unit and storage device. Output can also be displayed and processed in realtime using a PC. The fixed multipoint radiometer models provide realtime temperature monitoring of 256 data points for use in process control and remote monitoring systems. Unit can be operated immediately with industry standard virtual instrumentation software and industry standard programmable operator control stations. Data output is via RS232 or can be converted into Ethernet formats.
