Samson in Frankfurt acquires its SA agency

Samson AG, international valve and controls manufacturer, based in Frankfurt, Germany, has announced the acquisition of the entire interest of its local agent of 27 years' standing, Monitor Instruments, for the purpose of establishing a fully fledged subsidiary in the southern African region. Existing staff are retained and the new subsidiary, trading as Monitor Samson Controls, will operate from the existing offices and workshop location as before. Telephone and fax numbers remain unchanged. Customers can look forward to continued sales and service backup for all Samson products.

In the next few months the stock facilities and service facilities for valve assembly and testing services will be improved to serve and support Samson customers with fast delivery in the whole southern African region.

The field of expertise extends from heating and airconditioning technology to applications in the largest chemical plants. Samson operates wherever there is controlled flow of vapours, gases, liquids, chemicals, etc.

His first patent marked the beginning of a development which still today represents one of the company's main product lines: self-operated regulators. All equipment quoted is designed and manufactured by Samson, Germany. Samson is certified according to ISO 9003 and all procedures for design, manufacturing and testing are in accordance therewith. Samson is a leading European manufacturer of control valves and self-regulated controllers to the process industries. Major customers include multinational companies such as engineering contractors Kvaerner, Bechtel, Lurgi, as end-users like BASF, BP Chemicals, Hoechst, Degussa, Amoco, Petronas and Bayer.

Samson believes that this change as a new established Samson subsidiary in this part of the world will strengthen its vision to be admired for its customer and business partnerships and reliable performance.
