Optex has designed and developed the portable PT-S80/PT-U80 Thermo-Hunter, which measures from -30 to 600°C. This non-contact infrared thermometer is equipped with an EL backlight display, for a clear view of your measurement values. Optex has incorporated the large LCD with three display levels allowing more information to be shown more clearly and with larger sized characters. This EL backlight is sensor activated, it lights only when ambient light conditions are low.
The instrument features a coaxial laser marker, a high/low alarm, max/min display, protective case. The S80 version has selectable emissivity and single memory function, and the U80 version has continuous measurement function, PC connection, clock function, 35-point memory function, emissivity adjustment and time alarm function.
The PT-U80 has exclusive software download, which activates the instrument by the attached USB. For efficient use of measured data, Optex equipped the PT-U80 with the ability to send/receive data when connected to a PC via USB, thus using imported data for creating reports is easy. The co-axial laser marker points at the centre of the measured area.
