RKC Instruments is offering its new high performance power controller, three-phase thyristor unit, the THW-3 Series. This three-phase power controller comes with an LED display to show set values and input signals as well as keys for easy setting and monitoring. Setting may also be made externally by means of a variable resistor.
Control functions include constant current control, constant power control or constant voltage control. This makes the instrument suitable for any application with three phase power control. With either the ramp-up (soft-start) or ramp down (soft-down) set to zero, the THV responds quickly to the setting input changes, and it can be used in applications such as rapid thermal process. The THW-3 Series high performance power controller has useful standard functions and three types of selectable control modes.
