The objectives of low cost automation, pneumatic symbols and other general pneumatic principles.
Runs: 2-4 November in Johannesburg and 16-18 November in Durban.
Advanced pneumatics
The specific application of actuators and valves and concepts like cascade circuit design.
Runs: 16 -18 November in Johannesburg.
Electropneumatics
Electrical principles and symbols, control methods and fault-finding procedures.
Runs: 21-25 November in Johannesburg.
Programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
PLC control principles, familiarisation, programming and related material.
Runs: 9 -11 November in Johannesburg.
Basic hydraulics
Basic hydraulic principles, symbology and general concepts
Runs: 2-4 November in Durban and 23-25 November in Johannesburg.
Mechatronics 1
Includes function and application of actuators, application and selection of sensors, role of controllers and control software, system integration and documentation as well as case studies and networking and will run from 18-21 October in Durban.
