Bürkert Fluid Control Systems is offering its range of mass flow controllers and mass flowmeters (MFCs/MFMs). These units are used in process technology, for example in sewage treatment plants, in eliminating odours in digestion processes, in soil decontamination or in ozonisation plants. MFCs and MFMs are also used in analysers, for example for liquids and gases, TOC analysers, phosphates or nitrogen oxides.
Process technology and OEM applications
The mass flow controllers/mass flowmeters are tailored to the specific requirements of process technology and OEM applications: In the case of process technology, the emphasis is usually on how robust the instrument is. The devices should be insensitive to contamination in the case of high flow rates, and the pressure loss should be low. Analog inputs/outputs, binary inputs/outputs for controlling additional functions, fieldbus and a high protection class (IP65) are other properties that are required. The requirements are somewhat different in OEM applications, because the MFCs/MFMs are installed in complete systems. The main requirements here are a high measuring accuracy and repeat accuracy even for low flow rates, a compact size and a reduction are what is important and digital communication. A high protection class is not required.
Besides its standard range of MFCs and MFMs, Bürkert also offers customised solutions for the flow and pressure control of gases.
