The FTh series thermometers provided by Afriso Euro-Index operate on the basis of the gas pressure principle (the pressure of a nearly ideal gas with a fixed volume is essentially linear with its temperature). This accurate measuring principle is suitable for demanding measurement tasks (class 1, DIN 16203.) Reliable measurements can be performed in temperature ranges from (-20 to +60°C) to (0 to 500°C) with excellent long-term stability. The IP 65 devices use only metal parts (besides the instrument glass window). There is a brass movement, aluminium dial and pointer, stainless steel 1,4301 housing and bayonet bezel, stainless steel 1,4541 immersion stem, thermowell and remote tubes).

This thermometer is suitable for hot and rough conditions and outdoor applications. For additional switching and control tasks, a limit contact can be integrated in the housing. Glycerine or silicon oil filling is offered for applications exposed to heavy vibration. DIN 11851 connection or clamp connection is available for hygienic processes and installation in pipes containing flowing media is possible.

The standard version of the high-grade thermometer is available in two housing sizes (O 100 mm or 160 mm). In addition, high-quality custom versions with different connections, scales, fillings and mounting options are manufactured.
