With increasing legislation and environmental pressures, reliable measurements of wastewater parameters are essential for the effective treatment of effluents. Dissolved oxygen can be used to indicate the condition of a river, reservoir or to control aeration equipment in a sewage works or wastewater treatment plant or even for checking the water quality in fish farming.
The MOD53 Series of dissolved oxygen monitors have been designed to accept a wide range of polographic and galvanic dissolved oxygen sensors and combined with parameters such as membrane correction, bias voltage and temperature sensor type offer accurate measurement for a wide range of process applications.
LTH instruments provide outputs for recording and direct control of aeration equipment with optional for proportional control. Sensors are available in many different configurations for open tanks or pipe mounting.
Typical applications for LTH dissolved oxygen instrumentation and sensors are aeration and wastewater treatment. Industries that use LTH instruments and sensors in their wastewater plants are bioprocess, pharmaceutical, landfill, water PLCs and fish farming.
