Custom designed samplers

May 2005 Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration

Mitech's samplers are designed in-house according to clients' specifications to sample either solids or liquids. Samplers vary according to the sample volume, line size, industry, medium and application.

The liquid and slurry samplers provide a high accuracy of sample and are suitable for use in line sizes from 80 mm to 400 mm. They are good for applications up to 1,2 MPa line pressure, and the line pressure is not exposed to the atmosphere. The standard volume sample is 125 ml, however, a varied sample volume of 8 ml to continuous is also available.

Easy to maintain, the samplers eliminate human error and product spillage and are suitable for composition and consistency sampling. Housed in 316 stainless steel, the samplers are pneumatically piston actuated, have polyurethane discs and Viton O-rings or PTFE seals for a longer operational life. Also included in the range are Grab samplers for conveyor belt sampling, dry samplers for powder gravity feed and a granule sampler for polypropylene, granule or quality control applications.
