The AIMB-700 Series comprises full-featured high performance ATX industrial motherboards designed specifically for industrial applications that require performance, longevity and flexibility. The entire AIMB-700 Series has extended component availability that use the latest Intel Pentium 4/Celeron CPUs and chipsets in an ATX form factor that is compatible with most commercial or industrial chassis and mountings
Available from ProMicro, the AIMB-700 Series has all the necessary industrial features such as, five-year supply line, two-year warranty, watchdog timer, wide operating temperature range and long product life cycle, plus rigorous quality assurance and testing for the most unforgiving environments. A customised BIOS service and SNMP manager are key features of the AIMB-700 series. A remote management port allows users to monitor and control the system remotely through standard SNMP/HTTP protocols when used with the SNMP-1000 intelligent system manager. The customised BIOS provides system integrators with the flexibility to build in specific functionality. The onboard watchdog timer periodically monitors software or hardware and corrects any failures. Equipped with Intel's latest CPUs and chipsets that support Hyper-threading technology, along with standardised I/O, optional AGP port (AIMB-741), PCI and ISA expansion slots, the AIMB-700 Series is designed to satisfy the most demanding of applications.
Possessing single or dual 10/100Base-T or 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports, the AIMB-700 Series offers the scalability needed for most network applications. An optional CompactFlash socket is available to serve as a hard disk. An onboard alarm connector monitors the internal chassis temperature and fan speed, while an external keyboard connector extends keyboard functions to the front side of the chassis. Industrial chassis are available from 1U to 7U high, additionally there is an optional 32-bit/33 MHz PCI interface riser card for 1U and 2U high chassis.
