The FR73B low flow inline monitor from FCI provides a linear analog output signal for extremely low gas and liquid flows in either direction. With a detection capability from 1 to 1000 cc/min in gas and 0,01 to 2 cc/min in liquids, the monitor is a suitable monitoring and switching device for test and measurement applications such as gas chromatography and fluid sampling systems.
A millivolt output signal is positively correlated with the flow rate and is suitable for a computer input and can be read using FCI's FM71D monitor/calibrator or customer supplied voltmeter. The monitor will respond in as little as 1 s depending on the type of media and flow velocity. With 3,1 mm 316 stainless steel tubing and an inlet to outlet volume less than 0,8 cc, the unit is quickly and easily purged to prevent sample contamination in test applications.
