Manufactured in Europe, the Selet range of inductive proximity switches carry the CE mark and conform to both Cenelec and DIN standards. Used for non-contact position sensing and counting applications, the full range of proximity switch types have been added to Instrotech 's comprehensive suite of automation devices for machinery and other process measuring.
Available off-the-shelf are 8 mm, 12 mm and 18 mm PNP inductive proximity switches in short and long range versions. Namur and NPN types can be supplied at short notice. Both 2-wire and 3-wire versions for AC or DC supply options are offered. There are two changeover outputs - one normally closed and one normally open. Switching speeds range from 20 Hz to 5 kHz and an LED indicator shows when the proximity switch is energised. The units are supplied with cable and plug connectors.
