Ergonomically designed food thermometer

Temperature Measurement
This new food thermometer is easy to use, accurate and ergonomically designed - making it a suitable instrument for frequent temperature measurements. The unit has three interchangeable measuring tips especially designed for the food industry.
In the food industry, it is essential to frequently and accurately measure the temperature of many different food products. Different types of temperature probes are needed when measuring the different food commodities. For example, a supermarket has to check the temperatures of all incoming food products, including frozen, cold and warm goods. Therefore, different probes are needed for frozen, cold and warm foods.
Testo, a European leader in portable testing equipment, has produced a versatile one-handed food thermometer especially designed for frequent temperature measurements in various applications. Woolworths - a leading supermarket chain in food quality - has elected to use the testo 105 in all of its stores in sub-Saharan Africa.
The testo 105 is ergonomically designed and is easy to use due to its illuminated display, one touch button for automatic recognition of final display and alarm when temperature limits are exceeded. The device is accurate, has a wide temperature range (-50 to +230°C) and has three interchangeable measuring tips that are used for various applications. Therefore, core-temperature measurement of meat and temperature of frozen, cold and warm foods are possible with one instrument. The calibration data is stored in the tip itself making the probes easily interchangeable.
The testo 105 is available in a comprehensive Starter Kit, which includes an aluminium case containing the testo 105 instrument together with three different measuring tips; 120 mm, 200 mm long and corkscrew tip for frozen food. Additionally, it is available with the standard 120 mm probe only.
