Control Roadshow visits the Vaal Triangle

Change, smart, and simplicity... These seemed to be the main themes of the products that went on display at the Penmac Control Roadshow on 12 October at the beautiful venue of the Riverside Hotel in Vanderbijlpark. 30 exhibitors from the control and automation industry did a great job in displaying, demonstrating and exhibiting their products and services.
It was cold and rainy in the morning and everyone was concerned that this would keep away the visitors but by the time the show opened at 12 noon things were looking brighter and the visitors started streaming in. Some really interesting exhibits and working stands also made for a special show with a lot of interest being generated at a number of the stands.
The large number of visitors came almost exclusively from technical fields in the larger industries in the areas of Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging and Sasolburg and they were not disappointed by what was on show.
The companies exhibiting were: Adroit, Airtech, Atlas Industrial, AWR Smith, Ascoreg, Anglo Allied, Burkert, Citect, Control Tech, Gosair, Hanna Instruments, Industrial Automation and Control, Ithemba Air, Lapp Cable, Laser M, Loadtech, N&Z Instrumentation, OEN, Pall SA, Prei Instruments, RJ Programmable, RS Components, Shorrock Automation, Starro Process Control, Sustech, Thermo Elektron, Timecount, Throughput Technologies, Tyco Valves and Controls, Yokogawa.
This show has proved consistently popular with both exhibitors and visitors with everyone going away feeling it was worthwhile and has become a regular feature in the Penmac Control Roadshow programme.
