RJ awarded sole agency

September 2004 News Perimeter Security, Alarms & Intruder Detection

RJ Programmable Techniques has been appointed the sole African agency for the Heisei range of panel PCs. Heisei's Poseidon panel PC is available as a P3 or P4 platform, and comes standard with 12,1 and 15" TFT LCD - with the option of a touch screen. It features on-board graphics, audio 10/100 Base-T Ethernet and memory up to 512 MB SDRAM (P3) and 2GB (P4) - making the computer suitably powerful for multimedia applications. The device has sufficient internal space for a built-in hard drive (3,5-inch), FDD (slim), CD-/DVD-ROM drive (slim) and two expansion slots for flexibility.

The casing is made from a resilient plastic and provides for different installation configurations, such as wall/table, swing-arm mounted, panel mount or a desktop stand. The Poseidon is suitable for KIOSK, POS, POI and automation applications.
