Rugged data acquisition for USB

The MicroDAQ R-USB-73-T is a rugged data acquisition product for thermocouple temperature measurement. It is available with 8/16 or 32 analog inputs and has a 14-bit resolution. Featuring a USB interface the unit is plug-'n-play and can be used on the move with laptops or fixed with desktop PCs.

Standard type J/K/E/T/R/S/B/C/N thermocouples are supported providing temperature output accuracy to within 1°C. Onboard programmable digital inputs and outputs allow for activation of relays or external contacts in case of an event or alarm. A special cold-junction compensation module is provided with each unit to ensure accurate temperature measurements. This plugs into the R-USB-73-T's DB25 connector/s and has screw terminals fitted for interfacing thermocouple wires.

The R-USB-73-T is a suitable measurement tool for customers who wish to do temperature measurement but do not want the hassle or investment of PLC or scada systems. Typical applications include monitoring of furnaces, cold storage, computer server rooms and environmental monitoring to name but a few.

* Operating voltage: 90-264 V a.c. (60 W) or 18-40 V d.c. (60 W).

* Optional battery back-up: 9,6 V @ 3700 mAHr (N-i MH).

* For 3-5 hours operation (typical).

* Dimensions: 107 x 204 x 154 mm.
