Associations
Sensors and instrumentation to detect more than 150 different toxic and combustible gases are manufactured by International Sensor Technology (IST), and available from their local representative PREI Instrumentation.
The range of this equipment includes portable units, single and multipoint stationary systems, standalone sensor/transmitters and computerised gas monitoring systems. The range of sensors includes solid-state, catalytic bead, infrared, electrochemical and photo-ionisation detectors. Solid-state sensors come with a 3-year warranty, and have a life expectancy in excess of 10 years.
These industrial instruments are used near ammonia refrigeration plants, liquid fuel and gas pipelines, water and sewage purification works, spray painting booths and paint factories, tanker loading facilities, smelters and furnaces, mines and even in silos to detect any build-up of combustible or explosive gases.
