PREI Instrumentation is now offering Calex non-contact thermometers - further expanding its range by adding this to its Raytek infrared thermometers - which it has marketed for many years. Calex is a UK manufacturer of infrared instrumentation that produces economical solutions for several additional applications.
The new range starts with simple, low-cost units that have temperature ranges of -20 to 270°C, and useful features such as temperature hold, laser-sighting and large back-lit LCD displays.
The high performance Thermosight range includes eight models covering the temperature range from -32 up to 1800°C. These units have 1% accuracy and a repeatability of 0,5%, adjustable emissivity and optical resolution of up to 50:1. Laser sighting is standard on all Thermosight portables.
The Calex range of infrared portables has a wide variety of uses, from HVAC, electrical maintenance and textiles up to glass, induction heaters and furnaces.
