Ultrasonic sensors are reliable and strong in performance. The measuring principle has been successfully employed in non-invasive level measurement for more than three decades. New materials and modern production technologies permit the constant extension of application limits in ultrasonic measurement.
The new 4-line text display that permits menu-guided on-site operation is one of the features that give Endress+Hauser reason to claim that its Prosonic M is unique and unrivalled among ultrasonic level measurement devices. The operator is guided (step-by-step) through the calibration procedure - commissioning is easy.
Prosonic M offers a novelty. Signal processing is shown as an envelope curve on the instrument display. This provides valuable information on the reliability of the instrument during application. A graphic operating tool (ToF Tool) is supplied free of charge and permits simple commissioning, optimising, diagnosis and measuring point documentation.
The ultrasonic measuring device is offered with the option of a 2-wire and 4-wire design. This means that it can be easily used in varied applications. For example, a 12 V battery can ensure the instrument's continuous power supply. The sensor has been tested according to IP68 for a period of 24 h and a depth of 1,83 m.
