New relays and temperature products

January 2004 Temperature Measurement

Rhomberg are launching a major push into the temperature market with several innovative new products added to their temperature range.

As of early 2004, four-digit programmable processor controlled digital indicators will be available in all common process inputs/output configurations. Linked to this is a range of 'hockey puck' temperature transmitters with linear to millivolt or linear to temperature calibration.

By far the single biggest investment will be the introduction of the thermocouple/RTD/thermowell factory. Known as the 'Thermowell Junction' it will be situated at Rhomberg's Johannesburg branch, where thermocouples, thermowells and RTDs will be built to customer specification. This will enable Rhomberg to offer an even broader service to their customers.

Rhomberg will also soon launch its own range of electromechanical relays, 8 and 11 pin (circular format) and 8 and 14 pin (flat format). These relays will directly replace most leading international brands and will be available in standard coil voltages from January 2004. The relays are manufactured to high mechanical and electrical standards to offer long service - and they comply with stringent international certification/accreditation standards.
