Citect recognition ceremony with de Beers
January 2004
News
In a ceremony recognising Citect's suitability for its roll with de Beers, Geoff Cragg from de Beers reaffirmed the mutual commitment of the two companies: "Faced with the necessity of replacing the scada systems on a number of key operations, we were looking for more than great product. The product had to be underpinned by the skills and experience to execute the project with minimum risk to production, and boosted by the creativity and passion to add value beyond the letter of the system specifications. With Citect having emerged from independent enquiries as the preferred solution and vendor for multiple projects, we sought a spirit of partnership to unearth the synergies and economies of scale within the suite of projects. With Citect having met our expectations in all these areas, we felt it appropriate to recognise their contributions to date and to reaffirm our mutual commitment to extend the prevailing spirit to the collaborative management of these assets throughout their envisaged lifecycle."
