Protea Automation solution award for Shatterprufe

Recently, Protea Automation Solutions awarded Shatterprufe, Neave Plant, for outstanding support for its latest upgrade. Shatterprufe, Neave Plant, situated in Port Elizabeth, is the leading manufacturer and distributor of laminated and armourplate toughened automotive safety glass in southern Africa, and a major exporter of automotive replacement glass to America, Europe and Africa. The company has completed final commissioning and testing on its new automated bending furnace used in the manufacture of unusually large windscreens.

Over the last 10 years, Protea Automation Solutions has supplied various infrared thermometers to the GaRankuwa, Struendale and Neave plants. Shatterprufe purchased 13 newly released System 4FLT thermometer systems that were chosen for their spectral response, repeatability, accuracy and response time.
