Stellar high power amplifiers from e2v technologies, cover all primary satellite frequency bands and can be supplied in standard or custom configurations covering frequencies from 5,85 to 31 GHz. Power levels of up to 8 kW can be achieved by combining systems of up to four individual amplifiers. Designed for satellite communication in fixed stations, ground stations and mobile applications, the amplifiers are easy to maintain and feature powerful integral cooling fans supporting operation into external ducting.
Available configured into rack systems, the amplifiers offer a fully wired mains distribution and protection system and comprehensive central control unit. A remote main control room panel and interface are included. The control and monitoring systems offer access to detailed information such as 'lifetime' TWT log. They have an alphanumeric screen with soft key controls, built-in fault and status logging with date and time record, as well as RS422/RS485 serial control interfaces.
The amplifiers provide system level RF power monitoring, control and routing as well as full RF power monitoring, including input, output and reverse power. Options for use with selected products include an integral lineariser and integral gain equaliser.
