The small dimensions of the Erni dual-in-line relay permits compact arrangement of relays on PC boards. The relay may be soldered directly onto the PCB or mounted in a 16-pin DIP socket. Because of the plastic sealed construction (dustproof and watertight) they are suitable for automatic soldering.

REL 07 Relays are fitted with two Form C changeover contacts. Because of the construction and contact material (ten microns of gold over silver-palladium) the contact resistance remains stable during the entire life. The bifurcated contacts allow switching of low signals of 50 mA/100 mV up to medium loads of 2 A/250 V a.c./220 V d.c. with a maximum switching load of 125 VA/50 W (AC/DC, respectively) and guarantee high switching reliability.

They are suitable for switching and control functions within the entire low current range such as process control, measuring techniques, telecommunications and hi-fi audio applications. Coil voltages of 5, 6, 12, 24 or 48 V d.c. are available. Maximum contact life expectancy is 107 switching operations.
